Learn what school districts must include in an IEP, what records you are entitled to see and copy, what school districts must tell you and when, who may attend a CSE meeting from the school, your appeal rights if you disagree with the CSE, how to handle an Administrative Hearing, your appeal rights after an Administrative Hearing and internet sites to help your child.

PARENT WORKSHOP: “The Relationship Between Speech/ Language Development and Disorders and Literacy Development”: Presented by: Sandra B. O'Reilly, M.A.,CCC, Speech/ Language Pathologist Language:
Professionals maintain that "language is reading and reading is language". There is a strong connection between oral language mastery and written language mastery. The involved components of language (such as phonology, semantics and morpho-syntactic development) will be discussed with regard to reading, writing and spelling development.

A primary cause of math disabilities is an inability to imagine numerals and concepts which underlie math
